Thank goodness the Nest Wifi Router doesn’t look like a Google Wifi or a Netgear Orbi. I’m not saying it’s beautiful, but it’s far better looking than the competition and a welcome change from the white/black plastic monoliths that seem to be part of our lives now.

I haven’t had any issues with the WiFi coverage in my apartment. It doesn’t matter where I am inside or even outside my apartment, my phone has at least 1-2 bars of signal. For those who have larger apartments, you can always add in more points for increased coverage.

The integration with Google Assistant is nice. You can easily ask your Nest Hub Max to pause your kids’ wifi during homework time, troubleshoot your connection with a simple Hey Google as well as be able to see all connected devices with one tap on the screen. The Nest WiFi point is also great for streaming music and gives you more options for placing them around your home – especially if you can hook them up to a power outlet behind your couch, TV set or nearby furniture.
