You have a 1500 Sq Ft house and looking for a router that covers the whole area of your house. Right? In this article, we have mentioned some of the best wifi routers for 1500 sq ft house from top brands like Ne

In this article, we will discuss the various things that you need to have in mind before buying a wifi router for your home. The first thing which you need to know is that there are many different types of routers available in the market. Some of these are:

  • A wireless router is a device that connects computers or other devices with each other over a wireless network. It also allows access to the internet for all connected devices and provides security for them.
  • A WiFi booster is used to extend your WiFi range by increasing its signal strength so that it can reach further areas than before. It utilizes the same frequency used by your existing router, but amplifies it so as to reach more areas around your house or office space.”

The router is also MU-MIMO (multi-user, multiple input, multiple output) ready, which means it can deliver data to multiple devices simultaneously.

The DIR-1260’s dual 5GHz radio provided our fastest throughput scores of any budget router we’ve tested lately. But its single 2.4GHz radio didn’t perform as well against the competition in our tests. A relatively low price makes the DIR-1260 a good buy for small homes or apartments requiring only one 2.4GHz radio, but if you need two radios for more bandwidth, consider the TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless AC Gigabit Router (V2), which costs about $20 more (at this writing) but comes with two radios and a USB port for sharing.

We have a new home that is 2200 sq ft, 3 levels. We had Xfinity come out and install their most expensive router/modem system – the Arris TG862G. It was able to cover the entire house with solid wifi reception, but only in the basement would it allow more than one user to stream video without buffering.

All other areas of the house would lose connection if two users streamed video at the same time. In desperation I ordered an EA8300 with high hopes. When my order arrived and I saw how much smaller this router was, I honestly thought that it couldn’t possibly be any better than what we had. However, after setting it up (which only takes about 5 minutes through the app), I was blown away by how much better this router is.

The coverage range is actually BETTER than our modem/router system from Comcast!! And the speed doesn’t drop off when multiple people are streaming video at the same time! This thing is amazing! The only downside is that setting up a guest network through their app can be a little tricky (I’ve struggled with it for a few days now). But other than that, this router is worth every penny!

I have been using a multitude of NetGear products for years. I used the old Netgear N300 WiFi Router (WNR2000) for years. It is still working, but it was getting slow at times and I wanted better range. The range in my house is good with this router, but it was not great in large areas like yards and the garage.

Fast forward to the Netgear Nighthawk RAX45 WiFi Router. This is an excellent router for the price point. It does not have all of the features of the very expensive high end routers, but for $99.00 on sale at Best Buy, you cannot go wrong with this router.

My home network has a variety of devices connected to it: wired devices, wireless devices and Internet of Things devices (IoT). In total I have about 30 or so devices connected to my home network at any given time (25-30).

The installation was pretty easy using the web dashboard and a smart phone app which walks you through installation step by step. You can also do things like port forwarding, parent controls and guest network configuration using these tools as well as a few others.

The only thing that was difficult with installing this router was that my old router had horrible security settings.

8.NETGEAR 4-Stream Wifi 6 Router (RAX15)

  • Connectivity Technology : Wi-Fi, Ethernet
  • Brand : NETGEAR
  • Compatible Devices : Laptop, Gaming Console, Smartphone
  • Control Method : Voice
  • Frequency Band Class : Dual-Band
  • Operating System : Linux
  • Wireless Type : 802.11ax
  • Security Protocol : WPA2-PSK
  • Number of Ports : 4
  • Voltage : 100240 Volts

The NETGEAR Wi-Fi 6 Router (RAX15) is a mid-range router that supports the new 802.11ax Wi-Fi standard with four simultaneous streams. It’s easy to use and offers enough features to be useful for most people. It’s not quite as fast as the Asus RT-AX88U, though, and it doesn’t support Wi-Fi 5 clients at anywhere near its maximum speed.

The RAX15 is a capable 802.11ax router that supports 160MHz bandwidth and four spatial streams for up to 1.8Gbps on each of its two 5GHz bands and 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. But like other routers we’ve tested, it can’t reach those speeds when connected to older devices that only support up to 80MHz channels and one or two spatial streams.

The Netgear RAX15 has a very good range, slightly better than the Asus RT-AX88U thanks to its built-in amplifiers and antennas. The setup process is easy, with a good web interface, but it lacks some advanced features like parental controls and guest networks.

9.Amazon eero 6 dual-band mesh Wi-Fi 6 system

  • Title : Amazon eero 6 mesh wifi system
  • Wifi coverage : Covers up to 5,000 sq. ft.
  • Type : 1 Router, 2 extenders
  • Supported speeds : Best for internet speeds up to 500 mbps.
  • Wifi connectivity : Wi-Fi 6 dual-band concurrent 2:2 (802.11ax), cmpatible with older wifi standards
  • Wired connectivity : Two auto-sensing gigabit Ethernet ports for WAN and/or LAN connectivity
  • Speed rating : AX1800

I’ve been very pleased with Amazon Eero. I’m not a networking expert, but I wanted to upgrade my home network and set up a mesh system. I researched the options and it seemed like Eero had the best balance of price and functionality.

I also appreciated that Amazon has a 30-day return policy on Eero hardware, so I could buy now and try it out later if it didn’t work as I expected. It was also nice that Alexa could be used for some basic management tasks (like turning off the guest network).

I have three units in my house. One is hardwired to my router in the basement, one is on the second floor to provide extended coverage there, and one is in the living room where we do most of our streaming. The system works great! Everything is really fast from everywhere in the house, even when using wifi only devices like iPads or smart TVs.

I also love having one network name for everything throughout the house–no more pulling out my phone or laptop to switch networks as I move through the house.

The setup process was pretty straightforward via the app. The only issue was that when setting up one of my units (which was on a different floor than where I had hardwired the first unit).

10.Motorola AC2600 4×4 WiFi Smart Gigabit Router

  • Connectivity Technology : USB, Ethernet
  • Brand : Motorola

I like this item. It works well with my Fios, and it has been a big improvement over my ActionTec router. This is a great router. I am a tech geek, and I know my way around computers and routers pretty well. I decided to replace the router that came with my FIOS modem/router combo because the wifi signal was weak in the bedrooms of my house. I did some research and found this router on sale at Best Buy on Black Friday so I decided to give it a try. You can’t go wrong with this one.

purchased this to replace the modem/router combination provided by Verizon FIOS. The wireless speed was quite slow using their equipment so after four years of being frustrated, I found this on sale during the holidays (2017) and decided to give it a try.

The setup was extremely easy – just plugged in the cables and followed the instructions… about five minutes later, we were connected with WiFi service throughout our house! Now we have significantly faster WiFi speeds which makes streaming much better (especially during peak download times).

The hardware is good quality and comes in two parts: the base station, which is the heart of the device, and an external antenna with a 5-foot cable. The external antenna connects via a threaded collar to the base station, so you can mount it at different angles or on a stand or wall.

The router has four gigabit LAN ports and one gigabit WAN port for connecting to your cable/DSL modem. You can also use either of the LAN ports as a WAN port if you have a cable modem that supports linking multiple devices as well as double NAT (Network Address Translation). This feature is useful for people who have more than one computer attached to their DSL/cable modem, where each PC needs its own IP address.

Things to consider before buying a best wifi router for 1500 sq ft house

How many routers do I need to cover my house?

When looking for a wifi router, you need to consider how many routers you will need to cover your house. The average home size in the United States is 2,687 square feet. If you are going to get a router that can cover the average home in the US, then you will need to get a router that has a range of 3,000 square feet.

This means that if your house is larger than 2,687 square feet and less than 3,000 square feet then you will be able to cover all of the areas of your house without having any dead spots with just one Wi-Fi router.

What is the best router for a 2 story house?

What is the best router for a 2 story house?

If you have a two-story home, you may want to consider an extra long range router. Some routers have poor performance when they are placed far from the location of use. A router with excellent performance will provide uninterrupted connection and speed throughout your home. It is important to choose a best wifi router for 1500 sq ft house as well as other types of homes as well. You can check out our list of top routers below:

How far will 900Mhz reach?

How far will a 900Mhz router reach? This is a very important question to consider when buying a wifi router.

Most people who are looking into buying a new wifi router want to make sure that they can get coverage throughout their entire home and backyard. If you’re in this camp, the range of your current router might be something you’d like to upgrade. If your current range isn’t satisfactory, then upgrading may be the best option for you. One thing to keep in mind is that certain frequency bands have different ranges than others. For example:

  • 2GHz has less range than 5GHz
  • 5Ghz has less range than 900MHz

What is the best WiFi booster for rural areas?

There are many WiFi boosters for rural areas. I recommend the TP-Link AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender, NETGEAR AC1200 Dual Band WiFi Range Extender, Linksys RE7000 Max-Stream AC1900+ Wi-Fi Range Extender and TP-Link AC750 WiFi Range Extender. These products can significantly improve your home network’s performance even if you live in a rural area with poor signal strength.

Do WiFi extenders really work?

Before you buy a WiFi extender, it’s important to understand what they can and cannot do. While they’re convenient and easy to install, the truth is that WiFi extenders are not ideal for high-bandwidth activities like gaming or streaming video. In fact, most WiFi extenders only support 802.11b or g signals—not the newer 802.11ac standard that allows for faster speeds and more reliable connections (although some newer models do support ac).

If you just have a few dead zones in your home where your 2.4GHz network doesn’t reach well enough on its own, then a WiFi extender might be the solution you need! But if you’re looking for a device that will boost performance across your entire network so everyone gets fast internet from every room of their house? Then it’s probably best to invest in something else entirely – like one of those new mesh networks I mentioned earlier 🙂

It’s also important to keep in mind how much distance exists between your router and where these dead zones are located—because if there isn’t much space between these two points (or even worse: if there isn’t any), then having an extra device sitting between them won’t do any good at all! Now let’s say on average this distance measures out at around thirty feet; well then we’ve got ourselves quite a problem here because according it’ll take up about 1/3rd of our total range before things start going downhill fast.”

Does WIFI affect blood pressure?

  • Does WIFI affect blood pressure?

Wifi will not affect your blood pressure. This is because wifi does not have the ability to directly alter the function of your nerves, which are responsible for regulating your body’s internal systems like circulation, digestion and respiration. WiFi must be absorbed into the body by other means before it can cause any sort of injury or illness (like radiation poisoning). If you’re concerned about health risks from electromagnetic radiation in general (which includes wifi), you may want to consider wearing a lead-lined vest while using all electronic devices that emit EMF, including cordless phones, microwaves and power strips with surge protection circuitry built into them.

Spreading your wireless network across multiple devices.

A best wifi router for 1500 sq ft house can be used to spread your wireless network across multiple devices.

Set up a mesh network to create a more stable connection throughout your home. The easiest way to do this is by setting up multiple routers in your home, which act as one large network. This type of setup is called a mesh network and can use a variety of different frequencies, including 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 60GHz (the last one is still being tested).

After considering all the points in this article, we can conclude that Netgear AC1750 is the best wifi router for large houses. This wifi router has all the features that you need and it is also affordable. If you are looking for a wifi router with more than one SSID then go for TP-Link Archer C9 or Linksys EA9500 Max-Stream. If you are looking for a long range wifi router then D-Link DIR860L will be a good choice but its price is slightly high.
